This project is a building addition to the Vanguard Academy built by Lichtefeld, Inc. in July 2017. The gymnasium is a 16,723 s.f. addition to the current academy. The main skeletal infrastructure is a Butler custom metal building system. The envelope structure will have metal stud exteriors with sheathing, insulation , and Hardie Plank façade board. The roof system is a Butler state of the art MR-24 standing machine seamed roof system. The roof has R-30 insulation with a 25-year material warranty, gutters and downspouts, parallel and perpendicular transitions for the parapet blinds. All rain water on the roof is outside of the building lines with no interior drains.
