After graduation from Trinity High School in 1983, Stanley was granted a partial scholastic scholarship to attend Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. In September of 1984, Stan transferred to Eastern Kentucky University to pursue an education in Management/Marketing, where he graduated from in 1987 with a degree in Management/Marketing. During these four years Stan also performed assistant project manager duties for various construction projects for Lichtefeld Properties. In February 1988, Stan graduated from Weikel Real Estate School and went on to pass the Kentucky Real Estate Exam in which he now holds a license in Real Estate.

In March 1988 Stan began full-time as a Construction Manager and Leasing Agent for Lichtefeld Properties development projects. In 1989 he started a new company, Childcare America, Inc. which included the development and operation of Childcare Centers. As head of operations, Stan grew the company to over $850,000.00 in annual sales. Also in 1989, Stan became part owner of Lichtefeld, Inc., a Commercial Design/Build Construction Company. In 1996 he sold his interests in the business operations of Childcare America, Inc. to pursue the growing demands of Lichtefeld, Inc. within the construction industry.

Stan is currently Secretary/Treasurer of the company and is involved in the administration, sales, marketing, and project management of various construction projects.
